Valentin Fougeray (born in 1989 in France) first started focusing on art in 2009 after studying architecture. Transversality is at the heart of Valentin Fougeray’s work. His various influences and creative outlets build his style, and above all, questioning perception is at the core of his creations. Tracks are blurred, illustrating the ambuguity of space, time and reality.

My name is Valentin Fougeray, I work and live in Paris and I’m photographer. After studying architecture, I started focus on art in 2009. I came to Paris in 2012 to do Gobelins school where I have been graduated in 2014. Today, I split my time between a commercial practice and my artistic one which is based on experimentation. I like to play visual contingencies, failures that twist an object from its shape.
